13 PhD positions available - EJD HORIZON 2020

The publication for "13 PhD positions" for the Marie Skłodowska-Curie ITN-European TubInTrain (“Tuning Tubulin Dynamics and Interactions to Face Neurotoxicity: a Multidisciplinary Approach for Training and Research”), Joint Doctorate in Chemistry and Biology of Neurodegeneration.

The research methodologies and approaches proposed by the TubInTrain consortium are strongly multidisciplinary and will involve a number of different state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies: Computational chemistry, Chemoinformatics, Chemical synthesis, Bioanalytics and biophysics, Biochemistry, Structural Biology, In vitro biological evaluation, Molecular imaging, Metabolomics.

Four positions are currently available at University of Milano (*OPEN CALL OCTOBER 7th - NOVEMBER 11th):

*Position 1: */Computer aided molecular design and simulation of modulators of Tubulin-Tubulin and Microtubules Interacting Proteins-Tubulin interactions.

*Position 2: */Development of bifunctional compounds as Microtubules modulators acting on Tubulin-Tubulin interactions.

*Position 3: */Development of Microtubules modulators acting on Tubulin-Microtubules Interacting Proteins interactions.

*Position 4: */Dissecting the interaction of a-Synuclein with Tubulin/Microtubules

The candidates will start their activity not later than 1 March 2020
